Yes Jen I have been out town without the web.
I won’t list the one offs I have from a “Beers of the world” gift pack I got for Christmas, none worth listing.
Bluemoon
Shiner “97” Black Lager
Sierra Nevada, Summer Fest
St. Georgen Brau of Buttenheim, Germany, Keller Bier
La Binchoise, Blonde Ale, Belgium
Duval, Belgium
I don’t have a lot of each one just a selection for any mood my taste buds are in.

I tried Bell's last night, for the first time. I had a bottle of the amber ale. it was awesome! this was at Brixx downtown.

I know it depends on what you have a taste for, but I find a good IPA is best after a long ride.

mmmmmm beeeeeer. I like the occasional brew. Olympia is my favorite, 'cause "It's the Water".

BTW: the resemblance of the horseshoe to that of a toilet seat is no coincidence. Drink a 12 of Olympia and you'll be hanging on the throne all night. "Good Luck" Wink

You really need to move to Gastonia Rob........

I actually like Oly-pops myself as well as PBR....but I'm not a big drinker anymore so when I do choose to partake in devils brew I usually get Newcastle or Sam Smith Nut Brown Ale 99% of the time.

Good stuff.... I believe I first got it at Lowes Food stores in Harrisburg.

I stopped at Lowes Foods and got some on the way home from Sherman Branch this afternoon.  I agree "good stuff".  And I was impressed with the store.  A helluva nice beer selection for a grocery store.  Could easily become a regular stop on the way home whenever I ride at S.B.  Thanks for the recommendation: the beer and the store.

Speaking of beer, is it true that we are going to be able to drink our favorites out of THTB/DD pint glasses soon?

I'm still a little groggy from New Year's Eve at Jack-of-the Wood and the Greenman IPA's...Might as well just eat a bowl full of hops!   Wink

Speaking of Asheville, Donna the Buffalo has a two night stand at the Orange Peel, Friday and Sat evenings!  We'll be Rockin' in the Weary Land on Sat, anybody else?

Hippy, I think Frank (hog farmer) mentioned this place somewhere in this thread.  Anyway, I stopped at Carolina Wine and Beverage in Cornelius today for the first time.  They had Bell's Amber Ale & Pale Ale in 6 packs. If they can get those, I'd imagine they can get your favorite flavor, if you ask real nice.  Working on Amber Ale #4 right now.  Not too shabby, and tastes a little better with each one, if ya know what I mean.  Wink

I've been a fan of their Porter for years. Did't think I would miss it that much. After 9 months ,though. I have a hankering. The 6 or so stouts they have are cool also. Thanks for the info on Carolina Wine. If the weather was better ,I's slide over there right now

There's all kinds of Bell's beer at the stores I go to. I just picked up a six pack of the Amber, haven't tried it yet, letting it cool off a little. Right now I'm having the last of my Bell's Smitten Golden Rye Ales, yummy.

Also their Two Hearted Ale is delicious, they have it at Harris Teeter.

In my fridge

Bell's - Amber
Goose Island - Ten Hills Pale Ale
Thomas Creek - Castaway Chocolate Orange IPA
Westbrook - One Claw Rye Pale Ale

The One Claw is probably my favorite right now, I haven't tried the Bell's Amber or Thomas Creek Chocolate Orange IPA yet, just got those from O'Darby's in Rock Hill.

I usually get beer from O'Darby's, Earth Fare, Harris Teeter, and Frugal McDougals near Carowinds.

Also Millers Produce Near Carowinds has an amazing beer selection. It's a gas station, there's a liquor store next door but I was amazed that they have all this good beer now.

I love beer  Smiley
