Monthly Meeting at Fuel Pizza, Park Road Shopping Center Thursday, March 6 at 7:30

OK, here's this month's beverage challenge:

I'll buy a beverage of choice at Thursday's meeting for every first timer (first Trailblazer meeting) and anyone who hasn't been to a meeting in over 1 year; no make that 6 months. Neither has to be a dues paying member, but I'll also buy a beverage  (or second) for anyone who joins for the first time at this month's meeting!

I must say y'all have been easy on me the last 2 months. Let's see some folks take the challenge!

Jim G.

I'll take you up on that one. Paid my dues a couple weeks ago, never been to a meeting. I'll see you all on Thursday. By the way, I like the expensive $14 high gravity beer.

Paid member at the beginning of the year, and will be attending my first meeting this Thursday.
Should I wear a shirt proclaiming "Free Beer here" so you'll recognize me?
I think an ice-cold Killians will be appropriate.

No worries Jim, they don't have the good stuff at Fuel (I like the high-grav too, so much that we are brewing our own now!)

There is a pretty good chance that I (Tanya) will be at my first TTB meeting Thursday, with my guy (Mike Storm) in tow. He has not been to one in over a year. This could get expensive!  Grin

Someday I will make it to my first meeting. Basketball tournament tonight at 6:30. The next monthly meeting in April softball will have started. Maybe hope for some early heavy April showers that first Thursday, then I can make it. Or if the ante is upped considerably  Wink

I would be there if my car's transmission hadn't decided to die on me yesterday. Gonna be bike commuting to and from work for the next few months.   Cheesy

I have only been to the last 3 but it seems to actually get going 7:45-8 and goes about an hour +/- 10 min ...

Hey Jim I'm bringing 2 new people tonight so can I get my I'm new member or bring a friend beer tonight?  Cheesy

Keep in mind if you say no I'm not going to bring them and I'm going to start charging 5 bucks per car (or bike) to park at Fuel Pizza!  Grin

I probably shouldn't be kidding about stuff like that because somebody from Goveco might be reading this board and decide to charge us 5 bucks to park in our on driveways that we've already paid for, to help them finish paying for their zip line to the moon project!  Tongue

I had to duck out at 8:40 when things were getting good (I swear I didn't just show up for the free beer).

Anybody care to share with the class what the USNWC guy (Mark?) had to say?

Maybe in that "other thread" to keep the daily page count up.

Thanks Jerry for bringing the seatpost.  Add one more to the list of Zion enthusiasts in CLT.

His name is Mike. His best defense (IMO) was the county tried to sell that property twice to golf course developers. The WWC is committed to maintaining and expanding the trail system.

Glad to see you at the meeting. You left early so we didn't get to meet.

As lame as this sounds I promised my wife I would be home in time to watch LOST.

Don't know when I'll make another meeting as my wife only lets me outta the house on a weeknight once a year.

It's not the same.  We watch it together "live".  It's just one of those things we do.
Ben didn't give him up (yet), but said he would.

Hey, whatever happened to the swarmy/smokey beastie, the dinosaur noises, the polar bears, and all the other crap they keep forgetting (or hoping we forget)?

There are like a billion LOST forums on the web if you really wanna get LOST.  Kinda weird, but there are constant things going on in the background that you don't notice, but these "folks" take the time to analyze the crap outta the show.  The number 815 is all over the place.  Every person on the show has a name with relevance.  A lot of thought goes into this thing.

So watching it with my wife became more important than the "parking topic".

And no Jerry, the papparazi didn't scare me.  I just need to be a little... unnnhhhhh.... lubricated before I speak publicly.  I do a lot better with a keyboard then I do with actual humans.
