Riverfront Classic June 1 at USNWC-VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!
TO ALL TARHEEL TRAILBLAZERS: This race is part of the Southern Classic Series and it is a fundraiser for the Club. We need volunteers! There are lots of ways to support the club and this is one of the best.
All proceeds from the race go to the Trailblazers. We have gotten sponsorships from area businesses, Neil has done a fantastic job of planning and organizing the race and we expect a good turn out,
but we need your help. It is important for the club to support this effort and the work done by others to plan and promote the race.
No prior experience necessary. We need volunters on site from about 7:00 - 7:30 am until approximately 3:30 pm. But you don't have spend all day at the race to help. If you are short on time, sign up for either set-up and registration, course marshaling, or take down. Bring a friend, child (not too young) and or dog (not too mean) to tag along. It's fun and friendly. You can even deduct your mileage on your taxes next year! (Maybe even the $5.00 parking fee too!) Bring you bike and ride after or before the race. Have lunch or a beverage at Whitewater's Eddy Restaurant. You can even race and still help.
