Are there going to be an extras ordered for sale later?

Also, since I will not be able to make it to the meeting, how are they fitting? By the chart I need an Lg to XL.

there may be some extras but I would not count on having the size/style you want we are not "stocking up" really.

So far it seems that the superfit is about a size down from last jersey ordersizing and 1 size UP from your normal T shirt size... I would err on the bigger size

We usually DON"T sell the extras, they are for special swag and stuff, best to get your order in soon...

p.s. If you didn't order a long sleeve, your missing out. These are great items for the cooler winter days. They are NOT the heavy weight fleece lined. Just enough  to keep the cool off your arms during those 40-55 degree rides, but not as hot as arm warmers.

How does the sizing for the new jerseys compare to the old blue jerseys sizing? I wear a blue large and want the same fit.

The MESH will fit exactly like the Blue/Reds same style and cut

The super fit will probably be one down they are not cut the same so they will not fit exactly the same the Superfit is designed to be a looser cut. Mark has the fit kit up at cycle path if you want to try it for size,

I will have the kit probably this weekend or monday

I wear a XL in the regular jersey, ended up going with a XL superfit also. I like 'em a little loose, especial in the winter when I wear a t underneath

Ah, you should consider waiting until Mon and leave it with Mark to bring to the Cowbell.  May be some people there who'd like to try it on.

Mark since I am sure you have nothing else to do, do you want to bring the fit kit to the Cowbell I think someone wants to try on the Jersey  Wink

On second thought, I'm sure we'll all be plenty busy on Sat.  Maybe we'll stop around the shop on Fri afternoon (coming over anyway).

Having just spent my allowance on a new frame, I wasn't going to get a jersey but my very supportive wife just gave me a homemade gift certificate for our wedding anniversarry and told me to get a Trailblazer jersey.  (All together now....."Ahhhhh, that's sweet.")  So I'm scrambling now, looking at the jersey info, wishing I'd tried some on at the meeting.

I'm leaning toward the short sleeve mesh model.  I wear a size medium tee shirt, am 6 feet tall and 165 lbs.  I've got an XL Perl Izumi jersey that's kind of big on me.  Any idea if a Large would be too tight in these Gitas, based on those of you who have had them in the past?

Post up if you get the fit kit back this weekend Sean.  I may have to swing by.

Mike I'm right @ 6.0, 160 lbs. 4days ago  Roll Eyes I wear the Xl in the mesh type. It is plenty tight on me, but not too tight. It is tighter than a Primal Wear XL. which is more like the relaxed fit. If you can make it by South Park Cycles, I think he may have some Gita jerseys in stock. I really think you may be closer to a Xl according to the info you have given.

Thanks Jerry.  I think you're probably right.

Only in the world of cycling could I lose 50 lbs, go from an XL to Med tee-shirt, and still need an XL jersey.   This sport just finds one way after another to keep me humble.  Roll Eyes

I probably need to drop by SouthPark Cycles anyway for some tools, parts, and maintenance.  I can just see that jersey fitting costing me a fortune.  Grin

Follow up:  I did stop by and try Giordana jerseys, which I think are the same thing, and the large was quite snug (but acceptable) while the XL was quite comfortable and just a bit loose.  A little hard to tell when trying them on over a polo shirt, but since I'd rather be comfortable rather aerodynamic.
