I'm looking for some volunteers to help run this event....  Anyone willing to bring an old gas or charcoal grill out for a few hours to help flip burgers & dogs?  We could also use people as ride leaders and to work a table with info about our mission and how to become a member.  Last but not least, if anyone wants to help set up and break down after the gig, it would also be greatly appreciated.  Below are the details...

Date: Sunday MAY 3rd
Time: 10 AM - 2 PM
Location: Colonel Francis Beatty Park (tennis court parking area)
Address: 4330 Weddington Road
What to bring:  Your bike, a chair and riding partner

Beginners through advanced riders are welcome to join us at the park for a ride and cookout. Bring your bike for a ride on the 6 mile beginner friendly trail and a chair to relax afterwards with other mountain bikers. Rides of all levels will be going on throughout the event and a grilled lunch will be provided (while quantities last) courtesy of the Tarheel Trailblazers. Feel free to bring a friend!

Sunday, March 3, was back in 2002.  We can still have it on that date.  I just need ask Doc Brown to get some fuel for this car.  He says he's sure that in 2009 plutonium is available in every corner drug store, but in 1955 it's a little hard to come by.  It may take a while.  I guess we should just change the date to Sunday, May 3rd.

Assuming our schedule does not get FUBARed, Madi and I will be there. 
The wife might join us and said she might be willing to help out with the cooking. Being she stopped riding, and apparently stopped cooking at home, and well I should stop there before she checks that spy ware program she installed on my computer to check up on me...or was that the government...I forget.
But at least she has not seen this months AMEX bill yet, someone charged a really nice Pinarello FP3 rode bike to my account. When I figure out who did it, I am going to kiss them, because they also left it in my garage. Grin Grin Grin

Anyone able to bring a grill out (gas or Charcoal)?  Undecided Right now all we have two small charcoal grills to work with (Jim is bring one and I have a smoker than will turn into a small grill).  Also, If anyone has Easy-up's they want to bring out to provide more shade, they would also be welcomed.  Last but not least, bring your own chairs since we'll be set up next to the bathrooms in the tennis court parking area.  There isn't a picnic pavilion or even tables over there.  Hope the weather is going to be nice?  Looking forward to it!  Smiley
