Scottish Ales rock, especially if you are a Scotch or single Malt kind of guy.

I brought back twogrowlers filled with the King Coconut Porter and the King Don Pumkin Ale from the Catawba Brewing Co. I may need help with these. Any porter and pumpkin ale fans out there?

Quote:

Seasonal Beers
King Coconut Porter
This unusual American Porter has become a Spring seasonal
mainstay for Catawba Valley Brewing Company.  Hand crafted
using the finest malts & hops then infused with actual oven
roasted coconut.  Combined with the rich chocolaty Porter,
coconut, and caramelized barley, King Coconut Porter has
become lovingly known as the candy bar in a keg.

King Don's Pumpkin Ale
Perhaps our most complex beer. King Don's uses five separate
barley styles, an artistic touch of hops, spices normally
reserved for baking, and really fresh pumpkin!  The caramel,
spice, and pumpkin flavors meld into a wonderfully smooth,
orange-hued beer that sports a luscious, creamy foam head.
This beer is available in the fall.

These seem like appropriate tap handles for a bike and brew ride.

You are welcome to have it back.  Probably to heavy for a permanent installation.  The oury is perfect.  Now I got to get a backsplash and drip tray figured out.

If I wasn't laid up here in Statesville, I'd be on that one. Pumpkin and Porters are my favorite cold weather brews. Just picked up a case of Buffalo bills pumpkin that was on a very cheap clearance sale at the local wine shop. Bell's Porter is my all time favorite Smiley

Rig up some sort of parts tray off of a workstand for the drip tray.

Thanks.  Not bad for a $120 craigslist freezer....and never having to sanitize bottles again.

Does this freezer have an adjustable climate control to keep the beer from freezing?

...Cycles the freezer on and off to control the temperature.  You can see the copper wire for the temperature probe hanging inside beside the basket.  The control unit is mounted next to the rear hinge.

Sweet!  I have a stand up freezer out in the garage that is not in use.  Maybe, a beer cooler project could be in the near future.
