I saw this Terripin Chocolate stout at the store. I tried the Sam Adams Chocolate stout, and it was awful. Figuring the terripin is about the same Tongue

Hey, question here.  Where can one get growlers filled? In Buffalo where I am originally from there is a beer store called Consumer's where they have various beers on tap and they fill growlers.  Bought a few, filled them and would like to refill them here but am not sure where to go.  Would love to know all the places that fill them and how much it usually runs.

Had the Bell's Christmas Ale, and the Shiner Holiday Cheer the other night at the Saucer. Good stuff, maybe too good, and wasn't feeling so cheery the next morning.

Bugaboo,

I'm pretty sure Carolina brewing in Mooresville has a growler refill program.

Saturday is the last day for tastings at the brewery and the last day for growler fills. They are turning into a energy drink cannery

Terrapin Wake and Bake now being served locally in Charlotte (at least at Brixx)

Yummy dark beer with hints of coffee flavor.  One taste and you'll be hooked.

Anyone seen the Highland Cold Mountain seasonal yet?  I haven't been able to find it and it seems like last year this time I saw it in a couple spots.

I saw it over a month ago.  Probably sold out now...and I forgot to pick some up.  Definitely in my top 10 beers.  I love that stuff.

Closest ingles I know of is up 321 just out of Gastonia.  Maybe same exit as gaston community college.

I'd call the beer stores around town first though, just in case.  Total Wine, Brawley's, etc.

Hippy, If you get around the Asheville area, have you tried Brew and Ales?

They are a little snobish towards tourists. But if I need a specialty beer, I go there. If I need something local such as Highland, I'll go to Ingles on Tunnel rd because of the prices. Hop and Vines is a pretty cool place also. But Growler fills from the many breweries is the way to go. Pisgah is one of my faves Smiley
