I'm sure it's in this thread someplace but too lazy to check.  Any idea as to who might have Hopslam? I know that The Kickstand restaurant on Central had a few bottles but outside of them.....

HopSlam is long gone. If you didn't get it within 3 hours of coming out, you missed it.

Concur.  Hopslam is gone.  It wasn't was good this year IMO anyways.  There are other superb IIPAS in the area too.  I just drank HopCakes at Noda last night and it was awesome.  I recommend making the trek there.

Lagunitas Sucks was better than HopSlam this year. I highly recommend trying it if you like IPAs.

Hey Robbie, you keep your bikes in the kitchen?  Or is that something else behind the beer?

The kitchen is to the right, living room to the left. We keep the everyday commuters in the living room Smiley

Got to drink some week old Heady Topper last evening. Was LAB.

I will buy as much of it as I can when I'm in VT in May.

Finally received my care package from Cigar City!! Cheesy

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Jai Alai IPA (Very, very good stuff here)
Ghost Stories (loved it)
Humidor Series IPA aged on Spanish cedar.  (unbelievably delicious)
Cubano style espresso brown ale.  (awesome)
Humidor Series Double American Black Ale.

I can see why Cigar City was voted the 4th best brewery in the world. It's too bad they don't distribute much outside of Florida. If your ever near Tampa you must stop by the brewery to try some of this amazing beer.

Just picked up my first 6 pack of Dale's Pale Ale, can you believe it?

Middle of the road hoppy for me. Gets better as I drink. Pours with a large head so I drank most out of them out of the can

the smell of a hoppy beer is at least 50% of the flavor IMO. You missed out on some Dale-isciousness.

This.

And PKSPE, everything from Cigar City is great. Can't go wrong. It was Hunaphu release day on March 9th and I should have two bottles headed my way soon. I'm excited.

Sounds about right.

I am still an amatuer when it comes to the IPA's.

Daniel turned me on to Dog 90 about 2 years ago...................thank goodness. And it has been a hoppy 2 years every since. I have a tough time drinking domestics now.  Smiley

I hear ya. Just giving you a hard time. The aroma is one of the reasons I love a good IPA though.

Anyone know about this one? Had one last night. It's a very well done stout.

Google it if you haven't heard of it.

Not exactly craft brew, but NBC news gave 30 seconds last night to tanks being offloaded from a cargo ship in Charleston (shipped from Germany) bound for the new Sierra Nevada brewery in Asheville.

Judging from the size of the tanks, this new facility is going to be pretty large.
