Let's liven this up a little.

If money and availability were not an issue, what are the 3 beers you'd have in the fridge at all times?

I'll start:

IPA:
Wedge Iron Rail IPA

Stout
Founders Kentucky Breakfast Stout

Red
Bear Republic Red Rocket

The three i currently have. First two are hard for me to get now that i live down here, but a large family back in WI keeps me well stocked.

New Glarus Brewing
Spotted Cow

May be on page 5 or perhaps page 17 but to take this in a different (but related) direction

What's your favorite beer bar in the Charlotte (or surrounding) area, where is it located and why is it your favorite?

To kick it off

Pizza Peel (before 5:30 PM when the dinner rush starts or after 9PM), Cotswaldo area, consistent selection of good beer choices, small (compared to Taco Mac) and if one does get hungry for more than beer very good food.

First off if a bar does not have 5 plus craft beers on tap/bottle its not worth my time to visit.

Duckworth's Grill - 20 plus taps and great food - 4435 Park Road Charlotte

World of Beers - some 100 beers on tap but no food  Sad  222 East Bland Street
Charlotte

Harry's Tavern - 10 or so taps of NC beers and good regional craft bottle slection - 2127 Ayrsley Town Boulevard Charlotte

1.) New Belgium Cocoa Mole for dark and delicious
2.) Boulevard Brewing Tank No. 7
3.) Dogfish Head 120 minute IPA

Favorite beer joint is Duckworth's in Mooresville.  When I was living in Raleigh it was Flying Saucer all the way.

I was at a Braves game this weekend and all of the beer was served that way.  Seems to be some kind of moveable cap on the bottom of the cup that seals with liquid in it.  I'm more shocked they made something like that drunk-idiot proof.

Davidson Beverage Company is a great place to get beer. Usually 12 excellent craft selections on tap with hundreds more I'm the fridge and plenty to take home. Usually a petty chill crowd there too. They always put new pour selections on Facebook.

Had a few great ones there lately:
Green Man Blanche de Vert
King Coconut Porter
He'brew David's Slingshot Hoppy Summer Lager

All delish

I'm glad Duckworths is now open in Huntersville - just sayin.  I had NoDa Hop Drop and Roll the other night.  A really nice/hoppy "go to" session beer.

Also tried Allagash Curieux.   Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
