Got mine at Total Wine on Park Rd. Doubt they have anymore though...everyone leaving the store and in line was holding a 6 pack. This stuff goes fast!

I had Hopslam yesterday at The Flying Saucer in Raleigh.  It was pretty good this year.

First year in as long as I can remember I didn't go for the Hopslam. Love it, but they've finally priced it so high even I'm not interested.

Noda's Hop Drop N Roll just won gold in the World Beer Cup for American IPA.

Go get a four pack and drink it for me since we can't get it in CO.

Sunday night after church my wife and another couple went to Duckworth's. Barry and I both ordered up a new beer from Birdsong, new to me. It's named "Say It To My Face" a double IPA. It was one of those rare beer of quality. If your out and see it on the menu give it a try.

Darn!  My wife and I hit Bird Song Brewery Saturday night after dinner at Cabo Fish Taco, but missed it on their beer list.  We both love double IPA's too.

Thanks for the heads up , Doug.  That just went to the top of my "need to try" list.

While I'm posting.... CONGRATS to NoDa for winning Gold (IPA cat.) in Denver!!! Smiley

Got my hands on a bottle of FFF Zombie Dust last night.  Definitely lives up to the hype.

Picked up a six of Lagunitas Sucks imperial IPA after an 18 mile LKNSP ride today. Slow sippin sweet hoppy sticky goodness. Goes well with epic rips and post ride rain.

I stopped in at Bird Song for a "Say It To MY Face"! Unfortunately it appears it will be next year before its brewed again. They were having a release of their " UP ON THE SUN SAISON". It was a very nice tasty summer beer. Give it a try if you see it around town if you can give up your hops for a day.

That time of year for my favorite spring beer. Fruh Bock from OMB. Love my IPAs, but if I could only have one kind of beer it'd still be German. I still think OMB brews as good a German beer as I had while traveling to Germany.

Don't know if it's been mentioned before in the thread, but if anyone is ever in Boone, I highly recommend checking Appalachian Mountain Brewery. really good beer. most are $4 - 4.50 a pint and they have cornhole and giant jenga outside.

if you buy a growler, you get a free pint of beer when you bring it back which is nice

I thought Budweiser was a Belgian beer, didn't realize it was a German brew.
