All I've been doing lately is drinking beer at the Davidson Beverage Company...  They've got a great selection, and they're just down the street from the Cycle Path.

I agree with Droz. Hopslam is good, but it ain't all that. One of my favorite beers is No-Li brewing's Born & Raised. It, in my opinion, is the best IPA that I have had.

You have to understand though that 10-15 years back. Hopslam was all that. When there wasn't the sea of current IPA's available. Troegs Nector Nugget is a great hoppy beer that is not an IPA  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links). Appalachian Mountain Brewery's three can releases are 3 of the best beers on the planet  (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Beer Blog...IS ALIVE!!!  Lagunitas Born Yesterday IPA on tap at Duckworths.  Worth a try.  I don't think Lagunitas knows how to make a bad beer IMO.

If you are in the mood for a holiday/seasonal beer Southern Tier Warlock is pretty good too.

Don't know if they still have it, but for those of you, like me, that missed out on Cold Mountain- it was on tap at Whole Foods in Huntersville earlier in the week.

Good stuff.

So I'm sitting at The Keg Cowboy in Columbia SC.  I'm here for work and just found this place on Yelp. Cool place!  And you know what's cooler?  One of the local guys had a bottle of Three Floyds Alpha Claus Porter in the beer fridge that he shared with me.  For beer snobs Three Floyds is not a beer you can find in the Carolinas and it's soooo good.  Pretty cool surprise. 😎

I just drank my last bottle.  I got the last 6 bombers from the brewery when it was available.

I talked to the brewery and it looks like I'm out of luck until the next batch.  They said the next round should get tapped in early spring next year.
