Nice short format last nite that allowed time for good post-meeting discussions.

No, no vomiting. Those Statesville guys made me a little green though... Wink

Nice to see a great turn out last night and all the first timers too. Thanks for everyone coming out and we look forward to seeing you again on February 4. We will skip January's meeting and instead celebrate the new year and the grand opeing of the Laurel Loop of the Itusi Trail at Lake Norman State Park on January 1, 2010. Festivities start at 12:00 noon.

Oh yea, the Statesville group will revive the Trailblazers North meetings starting Tuesday January 19 at First Flight Bikes in Statesville. Ride from the shop at 6:00 to the Signal Hill trail and regroup at the shop at approx. 7:30 for a short meeting. BYO beverage. They plan to give it a go the third Tuesday of every month so mark you calendars for guided night tours of this revitalized trail.

It was great to travel down with the Statesville crew last night, we had a good time.  We are going to try and make it down at least 3 or 4 times a year (if you will let us  Wink )

Like Jim mentioned, we are taking on the north meetings.  Mark has done a great job and we hope to build off of what he started.  Actually, we just felt bad since he is a gimp now. Cry

Our plan is to have meeting on the third Tuesday of each month.  Since we all love to ride, it seemed like a good idea to incorporate a ride into the meeting.  We'll leave the shop at 6:00 PM and will ride about 2.5 miles out to the Signal Hill Trail, do a lap and then head back.  Should be about 9 miles all together.  We should be back to the shop by 7:30 +/- so if you can't make it until later, head to the shop about 7:30 and we'll meet you there.  BYOB and if there is enough demand, we could order up some pizzas.

You had (first Tuesday's of month I believe), and I asked for somethin' a bit different to separate a bit from regular 'Blazers meetins'. It's of course up to what works best for y'all on the far North side. Just want to give as much opportunity as possible for cross pollinization.

We will go to the second Tuesday of the month which will put our first meeting on Jan. 12th with the ride leaving First Flight Bikes at 6:00 and back for the meeting at 7:30
