The Tarheel Trailblazers would like to invite you to an event at Fisher Farm Park in Davidson N.C.

Why?

•      Grand opening ceremony for the new section of mountain bike trail (Phase   III), funded by a grant from our good friends at REI. Over five miles of trail with sections for all skill levels.

•      It’s Bike Charlotte time!!  Celebrate Bike Charlotte with an event sponsored by the Tarheel Trailblazers.

•      Free food until it runs out!!  Hamburger and hotdog cookout/picnic. We did say FREEEEEEEE……

•      Take a mountain bike ride with some of the people that build the trails we all enjoy.

When?

•      Sunday May 2nd.

•      Ride from 1:00-3:00pm.

•      Eat at 3:00pm until we run out of food.

Can you reschedule this for May 9? I am doing a Muddy Buddy with my daughter in Richmond on May 2.  Huh

Uhhhhh...no.  Sorry Jim.  That's the best date we could work out and not have any conflicts at the park.  We'll miss ya, though!

Thought I'd try. I'll enjoy it when I get back. Place a hot dog and a coke by one of the ttf's and hide it under some leaves please!

I was actually born south of the Mason Dixon line in Maryland!  But that doesn't count cause we stayed out of it anyway!!! Cheesy

After about a millionth of an inch of rain, the north skys are sunny and clear right now, and the radar is clear.  Depending on where you look, no rain now in the forecast for tomorrow......so, things are looking good for tomorrow...at least as of now they are....keep thinking good thoughts for weather.

This is a BIG THANKS to Ed and Nuker for doing all the cooking chores for yesterday's cookout at Fisher Farm. I think they also hade some helpers, but I'm not sure exactly who.

Thanks you guys for putting out a great spread and helping us celebrate the grand opening of Phase III at Fisher. Its a dynamite trail and everyone had a great time yesterday.

Thanks also for Chris and his family getting the kids ride organized and moved to Fisher to join the fun. I understand we had about one hundred riders total and probably over 50 or so for the cookout!

Finally, Thanks to Mark and all his Fisher volunteers for all of their work on Phase II. Its a heck of an addition!

Jim
