When I was a kid, I prayed for a bicycle.  When I learned it didn't work that way, I stole one and asked God to forgive me...

Thanks for posting this Tom.  This will be a great opportunity to see what the NMBP is all about.  I was hoping to be able to sit in on it/assist them, but unfortunately I have to take the youngin' to the airport that day.  Sad

In the future, I'm hoping to be able to do this here locally.  I am a certified National Mountain Bike Patrol Instructor, so I can hold one of these classes for our club and anyone else in the area that might be interested.  You wouldn't have to be an active member of the Patrol to attend, but hopefully that could bring in a few more active members.  I know there are a lot of people out there that are already performing the basic functions of a Bike Patroller/Trail Ambassador, so maybe we can get a few more "official" people to join us.

The NMBP is a great program and it's just another way for local riders to contribute to our community.

Unfortunately I am back working in Toledo, OH, again. Heading to Pittsburgh Saturday night. Mutt, if you get something arranged here let me know as far in advance as possible. At the moment I am somewhat able to arrange to get down to Charlotte for a few days if I have enough advance notice.
