Here's the next installment of the "Help Wanted" messages.

We need volunteers to man/woman a table/tent at each of the Winter Short Track Series races held at the Renaissance Park Short Track. (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Time commitment is 3-4 hours. Very flexible based on whatever amount of time you can afford to give. 

Races are all on Sundays from around 10am-3pm, 1/16, 1/23, 1/30, 2/6, 2/13The club will supply a table, popup tent, a sign/banner that says "Join the Tarheel Trailblazers Today", and membership applications. We can either arrange the materials to be at the park that day, or meet you beforehand for a handoff.  

All you have to do is set up the table and popup tent (we can also give guidance on where to set the tent up), make sure the sign is visible that says "Join the Tarheel Trailblazers Today", and see if you can get any folks to join for the first time or renew. 

If you can spare some time to help your club, please post up here and/or PM "criticalmass", who has agreed to help coordinate for us.

Also, if interested in doing this but can't make the Winter Series, there will be many more opportunities at other races/events next year.

I'll respond only to make sending me a PM easier.  Now instead of searching for me...here I am.  See, volunteering is getting easier and easier.

How about I sweeten the deal. We'll have a portable heater exclusively for our booth. Join the club, and you can warm your hands. Don't let me forget I promised this. 

That's awesome Tom. Can you PM your contact information and we'll get all the details to you.  Any chance you have a riding buddy you can drag along?

Tom- I will be racing but my group goes off early. I will hang in the tent with you to warm up after.

If we don't get enough volunteers to man/woman a table/tent for each race, I can take a day.

Alright folks.  The series kicks of in just over a week.  I think we have the first date covered, but think about your schedules for the remainder of the series and come out to watch some cold racing, and help support the club.   

Who else can help out?

Maybe you're racing the new clydesdale class and can handle the earlier sign ups?
