	I'm trying to put together some trail work days in September to see how much hand finishing we can get done on the new Fox loop to get closer to finishing up this big project we have with the RTP grant. There will need to be usual approvals from the powers that be before the trail opens, but to get to that point we need to finish up behind the machine work bOb Karriker has been doing for us. Right now the dates I'm targeting are 9/15-16 and 9/29-30. I can be there on 9/29-30, but won't be there 9/15-16 to help bOb out. If someone can help me promote 9/15-16 and be there to help bOb lead the volunteers I can start getting the word out for both weekends...i.e., I'll pimp it if I can get help coordinating the volunteers for 9/15-16. Also going to see if REI can get us some help. Keep in mind this isn't technical work, mainly cutting roots sticking up and grooming some machine cut trail. Any takers?

	We're good for a big work day weekend 9/29-30, but still looking for a Tarheel Trailblazer to help coordinate 9/15-16. Duties would be helping Bob lead the volunteers, hopefully some from REI, getting folks to sign a waiver we could provide,and order some pizzas and bringing some sodas and water for afterward that the club would reimburse you for. The trial work isn't technical, mainly cleaning up exposed roots, possibly some light benching to taper the side of the trail after the machine came through, and making sure people have a buddy on the trail and don't wander off and get lost. 	It looks like we'll have a big work weekend 9/29-30 with food afterwards. There may be a workday earlier in the month, so stay on the lookout for that, but defnitely looking for a big club push the last weekend of the month. I'll get more details out soon. Been a bit busy lately.
