Hi

I just picked up a used Gary fisher Tass genesis for a friend. Want to upgrade it with a new Deore or better RD (9 speed) and some disc brakes rotors and calipers ( mechanical is fine).

The bike is used but solid so "slightly used/proven" parts are ok as well.
Maybe check the parts bins?!?

Like avid bb7 or bb5.

I'm in the south 485/area.

Maybe some 26" tires too if anyone has them. It's his first mb so i want to try to get him on a solid affordable fun ride.
