It was hot, it was humid and the yellowjackets were pissy, but Patrick, Matt, Craig, Emily and I cleared drains and muck on the valley trail and chigger hollow. Cant believe the scouring that 6 inches of rain can do in two short days. We had made some great headway on the roots, but the trail gods would have nothing of it. They are back with a vengence.

Great. Looks like we will have 4 or 5 people. Those coming later, just park at the paddleboats and cross the dam, left after the dam, at the rock armoring and 2 low cedar bridgesgo right into the woods and follow the long blue (walkers direction) until you find us. Thanks!!!

Huge thanks to Katie and Emily for coming out and helping sling muck and cut drains. With their help we are now about 90% done with getting Beatty back into decent shape. There are still many areas that are going to need significant rehabbing but we'll get to that in the future. Thanks again to everyone who has helped out there these last few weeks. There is NO WAY we could have done it without you. Please continue to check for future up coming work days...there will be plenty for sure.

thanks to everyone for all the amazing work at FJB.  Rode it for the first time in a month and it was in remarkably good shape (with the exception of what appears to be a few EXTRA "rooty" sections)

sadly, my work schedule rarely aligns with scheduled trail work.  How would one go about gaining some knowledge on the next steps of needed rehab that i might be able to approach solo?
