Is it?

Understand their web site tracks the status but have seen comments before that sometimes their "balls" are the wrong color.

They are open, but East Main and the Thread trail after the bridge are in terrible shape.  The Thread trail (again, after the bridge) has a bunch of big puddles, mud holes, etc and it is getting pretty torn up.

East Main is pretty muddy everywhere and has a berm that is holding about 1 ft of water, I walked around.  They need to do some work on those berms (drains).

So what's with the new stage out on the island in the main channel?  Any idea if the intent is to remove to original stage that's up closer to the restaurant?

Kinda hard to hear the music coming from the new stage unless your out on the island.

I think that's kind of the idea.  Too many azhats getting tables at the restaurant and then not leaving the table for 3.4 hours.  Turns into endless waits for everyone trying to eat. I hope it works.  Wink

h and be forewarned, WWC now has a 1 beer rule.  You can no longer purchase 2 unless the server can physically see who the second one is going to.

The lines were insane last night.

Plan B

1.  Buy beer
2.  Get back in line
3.  Drink beer
4.  Buy more beer
5.  Repeat

The times I've been to river jam the beer lines where long mostly because the service is very slow.  Inside or outside both beer booths had long lines and slow service.

The new stage is nice, it opens up the place and keeps the big stairway open for people to pass by.   If you have trouble hearing the music sit by the 3 large tents in the corner, the sound echos off the hill.

Went last Saturday when Railroad Earth played.  Went riding beforehand with my wife (first time for her EVER on a MTB!). She quit after the green loop and reserved a table.

It was a 1.5 hr wait! (Fortunately I was still on the trails)

Fortunately, we sat right as the music started and sat by the railing. We could def hear the music up there so it was nice.

Also, as we waited, sat off to stage left under the tents (as above) and had great sound there.

Yes, they were, but that was mostly due to the most incompetent bartenders I've ever seen. 5 people manning 5 taps, serving 3 lines, and they took 3 minutes to get me 1 beer somehow.

But I'm not bitter, love seeing the big crowds on Thursdays and Saturdays!

I think the variety of craft beer selection slows down the lines a lot too.  Most of the people there tend to want to study the beer menu for several minutes before ordering.

I'm glad they always have a strong selection though.

July 3 8pm one of my favorite bands destined to make it Apache Relay will be playing.  They have toured with Mumford & Sons often and are real close to breaking through.  If you do a Pandora station based on Mumford, you'll hear Apache.  Check em out  Cool
