Need a URE tour guide for Sunday

I am looking to take my maiden voyage out to URE on Sunday.  Is anybody available to go out there and show me around?  I was thinking late morning leaving, riding around lunch time for a couple of hours.  Looking for a social pace ride.

Thanks,

Justin

You may want to reconsider.  From other threads it sounds like the trail is still unrideable in places.

OK.  Will take that into consideration.  From what I had heard it is always rideable, but you are right that rideable and enjoyable aren't the same thing sometime...Cool

Normally it's always rideable when wet, but reports say trees are down in large numbers.  The state park doesn't have the resources to clear them as fast as our local crews did.  It's not a great ride if you have to climb over fallen trees for a couple of miles.

Agreed.  Right now you would be walking as much as riding from what I have heard.

URE is not a state park, it's a national forest. I would think it is under federal guide lines instead of state regulations. We had a workday back in March and the lady was a federal park ranger.
