Hey Steve, whadya get out there rain wise this evening?  I was looking to do an early morning ride.  I guess it may be kinda late to ask.  The rain gauge at Rhyne Farm (near Sherman) shows about 0.3"; that's kind boarder line.

I used to ride; now I just drink and cry about not riding.

0.3" is about right. To early to see but it probably ok roots may need to be watched. Enoch got a ride in yesterday before rain came our way he may have some input as to to what that amount of rain may have done.

I rode last night before the rain hit (we were in the parking lot when it did).  The trail was damp but not wet.  The wooden bridges were slick as snot though.

Highly doubtful.  I live about 8 miles away and we had a huge storm last night.

Highest it has been in several years. Water over the trail all the way to run starting Stairway climb. Three bridges can't even get close enough to see them. Water all the way to the about 8' past the first little wet branch on the first downhill to the river. Hope no more rain will let it drop tomorrow and see if bridges are still anchored bet that skinny is long gone. Had a couple big trees go down but just tops blocking trail already cleared some, will get the rest before it is ready to ride again. What a spring/summer it has been.

Good news is on the steeper pieces no sigh of any erosion issues. Cheesy

I heard it was 23 feet over normal levels. From what I saw today, I believe it.

I can believe it, we were out in the middle of the storm digging trenches to route the water away from my flooded garage and part of my house... We've never seen so much rain fall in such a short period of time...just a few miles from RRT..

Looks like the level is down to the 19' level which makes it still flooded in the couple lower  level passes and still over a couple bridges.

Here is what I will do early this morning ready by 9:00 AM. Put and mark two short bypasses one which was completed a couple weeks back but unmarked. These will keep you off the flooded area without loosing much trail maybe 6 tenths total. I also will need to clear a tree top that is on No Name. These should make the trail good to open to traffic. Come on out.

We got around 4 inches or more in no time at all, flooded lower pasture and barn. I am about 5 miles from RRT. Went out into Harrisburg proper a few bridges closed. More stuff down Steve? You can't get a break!

Yesterday at 9am.  Jeez, I live down in Waxhaw and we didn't get any rain.  I moved many limbs that were down and avoided any area's that would erode from my tires.  My compliments to the trail builders here. It was my first time.
