I rode Beatty last night.  For the most part it is passable. The new Black section has some wet spots and may be in need of some repair work where lots of ruts and roots have popped up, especially in the last hundred feet or so before it rejoins the main trail.

The Blue section is fine as are the Green, except for below the Dam (enchanted forest).  Back there it is a mess. Multiple spots with nothing but 20 to 30 foot runs of pure mud. I would highly suggest staying off this section and bypass over the dam when you come out of Blue.

Per a member of our trail crew that just rode, the trail is still pretty wet. Which is why it was posted closed last night....Im going to leave it open for now, mostly out of empathy. I know we all need to spin the pedals instead of hatin on the forum.

Below the dam will be getting some love very soon in the form of around 120 feet of ground-ladder. Should go a long way towards making it passable again.

Weren't you adding a flow trail or something out there sometime this summer?  Whatever happened to that?  All the rain should have softened up the dirt enough to make it nice and easy to move.

Funny thing about that, we were ready to start on some new trail, but people couldnt show some restraint and stay off the current trail when it was clearly wet, sooo...repairs first and the new stuff will have to wait. Cry

Oh and its hard to sculpt jello-pudding with a bobcat. Undecided
