Maybe for road riding in cool weather but I don't see it for mountain biking. Got a feeling it won't do one much good for those low hanging branches and fallen trees we have to occasionally duck under. Concept is good but sure seems like it would be mighty uncomfortable in warm weather with that zipped up around your neck.

One of the biggest problems in my mind is that it would almost certainly be a single use helmet and fairly expensive (or is that 2 problems?). I'd go through too many in a year's time and have to get a second job to pay for all the helmets.

Reminds of the the auto inflate PFD.   Sure its light wight less bulky but if you get splashed or pour your beer on it poof it goes off and its about $35 to reset at the store.
