Getting the jitters

I am freaking out, Looking up jobs and places to rent in the Pacific northwest so I can ride whenever I want. I can't even remember what riding a bike feels like. What color is the sky again? I don't know what direction I should be sitting on my bike. *Sniff* *Sniff*, anyone got some dry trails? Who wants to go to beech this weekend?

Was thinking the same... don't know about closures in places like Pisgah/Dupont, etc... but, thought those places should drain well and just driving out there and finding some places to just ride.  This weather has been insane... I've not even had a break in the weather when home to even cut the lawn cause the grass is always wet and when it is dry enough to cut as soon as I break out the mower it rains.  Usually enjoy the having the rain come through and cool things down, pack the trails.. but, this is just ridiculous!

Cross your fingers. At least with the new paved turns and the drain at turn 3, it's better!

I'm gonna order up a big boy BMX so you won't be so lonely in the 26" club.  Wink

I moved here from Colorado, partly for a " longer riding season"
Smiley Smiley
What have I done, my Facebook feed is full of friends riding videos, and all I can think is "laugh it up fuzzball, I'll get you come winter"

Sorry mate, you are always going to jones for the CO riding. Best you can do is hit up Wilkesboro and Brevard/Dupont/Asheville.  Then go out to Fruita and Moab.  Or if you can handle the altitude after living here for years, go big.  I dream of Agate Creek off from Monarch Pass often. If you are Super Core go ride The Growler out in Gunnison.

In the meantime don't sweat it (per se), the year round riding here really does kick ass.  I just think that some dumb ass left the Rain Dance Machine in repeat mode and took off to Europe.

Wifey likes the weather here though, no snow. If wifey is happy then I can deal with a spot of rain (just not the whole summer!)
