Thanks Jerry and Steve for the clarification. The sign is still there, but it seemed like a smaller feature than normal to have a name, and I've thought that perhaps the sign was just a little farther in advance than normal. I can see how the approach angle could cause a fall if it's slick.

Juist got done riding RRT about an hour ago... Little wetter than it was on Saturday afternoon but very much rideable... I took it easy on the Valley Bridge but it was fine today.  Get out there and ride!

PS-  Had 3 ticks i picked off me when I  showered.   Check your body real good when you are done.

PSS-  Should be perfecto tomorrow with no rain in the forecast for once tonight!

Just got done there a few minutes ago.  Ran into Steve.  While we were talking a massive tree fell somewhere in the No Name Extension vicinity.  Crack swoosh boom.  It's been so wet crap is falling everywhere.

The trail is great.  Some soft places, but be sure to take the Wet detours that are marked.  Still not wise to ride the bottoms yet.  I messed up, got down there and ended up walking most of it to keep from messing it up even more.

Word of warning, in the next month or so, if you are out riding, and a storm blows in, just get out.  The ground is so saturated, you never know when another tree is gonna fall if the wind picks up.

I found a tick on the back of my neck this morning which was either from RRT or Sherman on Saturday.  No good at all!

FourMat I missed the tree you were telling me about on the river climb, maybe it was a little further into the trail. I went from where the Wet bypass starts to the crest where the red oak lies beside the trail. The one we heard fall must of been in the area I haven't built in yet or over by the hay barn.

Trail was a little wetter than I expected but I think we had another 1/2"
Sunday late.

Steve, it was past the top of the river climb, not on the climb.  It was several turns past.  I can't remember exactly where. It it was between top of the climb and the valley bridge.  Sorry I cant be more specific, its hard to keep my bearings in that area.

i found two crawling on me after RRT driving home. I cleared the webs so I figured I was fresh meat.  luckily found them before they locked on and flushed them out the car on the highway on the drive home.

Steve I live about 5 miles away and we got a pretty good downpour for about 15 mins or so.  What do you think about tomorrow afternoon barring no more rain?

What we had here just barely made it through the tree canopy. So it should be about the same as it has been lately. Unless there is more through the night.

Was there any rain out this way last night or today?  I'm looking to ride RRT or Sherman in the morning.

My first lap I skipped the first wet bypass and it was saturated and very unridable, so I recommend taking both bypasses until it dries out more.  The rest of the trail was perfect.

And great riding with you today sager!
