Fisher is saturated, and needs TLC. We have work days this Saturday and Sunday. Meet at the first barn and bring gloves, work clothes and water. A hat and pants are probably a good idea. There will be watermelon after.
Meet at 0830 and plan on 1230 quitting time. Tools are furnished.

What Tom said.  We're dividing and conquering the work load to get more accomplished and to accommodate the folks that can't do Sunday's.

MORE VOLUNTEERS + MORE WORK DAYS = MORE PEOPLE RIDING THEIR FAVORITE TRAILS SOONER!

I plan on being there as long as we don't get a morning gully washer. Weather looks good for the am right now.

Despite the hot humid conditions today, it was really nice to get out and do some trail work after my little vacation from the club after stepping down as President at the beginning of the year.

I think with all the administrative duties I had to perform as El Prez the last two years I forgot how much I like hanging out in the woods with Cyclepath and building and maintaining trail.

I would encourage everyone to contact the trail coordinator of your fav trail to go help them, even if it's just one day a year. There's just nothing like the satisfaction of  looking back on the finished trail work you've completed, no matter if it's clearing a drain or building new trail. If you don't know how to contact your local trail coordinator PM me and I'll get you in touch.

Mucho thanks to everyone that came out and helped yesterday.  It was a mucky mess but we got a good bit accomplished!  Thanks to Edward A., Rob N., Mark H. and Tom A. for coming out donating 4 hours of your free time to help get Fisher back in ridable shape!  We must have sweat a gallon of fluid or more! Shocked

I stayed until 3:30 PM putting up some of the new signs.  The amount of signs are basically cut in half but are more informative.  The loops now have names so it should be easier to identify them.
