Trail work at LNSP on Sunday August 18th

I'm going back to LNSP to continue trail work on Hick's Creek and Hawk Loops. Maybe start on Norwood Creek Loop also. Anyone like to give me a hand, it would be appreciated very much. We'll be clearing drains and some debris from the trail. It's not supposed to be as big a chance of rain tomorrow, so we'll give it a try. Parking lot at 9am and if you have not worked at LNSP before, you'll need to fill out the forms for volunteering at the state park. If anything changes, I'll post tomorrow morning, Mike.

I wondered where you were you sleepy head! Dennis, Mark and I finished Hick's Creek. Dennis and I started back on Hawk Loop and worked till the trail came back along the power line. We stopped there and walked back up to the fireroad. Dennis left and I hiked over to Norwood Creek to clear a spot that was holding water. I cleared a few other areas that were real wet. Brian, I think I have your phone number. Sorry you didn't get to work today!

The Yahoo email group was put together specifically to schedule work days and would be a good way to let folks know about trail work days.  I check in here every couple of weeks and didn't see the trail work notice until today.  Actually, didn't have anything planned and could have come out and helped for a couple of hours.  The Yahoo group has 300+ members which would make it a good resource to use.
