Made the trip from Statesville to check out Sherman for the first time, and it was well worth the trip.  Great flow to the trail, I wish it wasn't such a drive so I could ride it more.  Everyone I ran into was very friendly even when I got turned around.  Great job to all the volunteers that keep Sherman up.
