discuss, the differences ...to me, one I like the 26er due to my size, I can flow with quickness around corners and know when to push hard in a berm, now I like 29ers like a fat kid loves a gallon of milk and a box of doughnuts,,, speeeeeed , I can get get just as much speed on my 26 but I feel I could never cut a corner as tight on a 29ercomplete mind funk with that ,,,no comment on 650 B's , the end of all end ....Just Sayin..

I never met a wheel i didn't like. For me at 5'8" i would go with 29 for SS and rigid. At this time IMHO there is no FS 29er available in a size small that is not a compromise. I do not think (me be wrong?)Specialized will offer their "world changing" FS 29 in a small.
For me it 650b for FS. I love mine.

You're right if you're talking about the Enduro 29er. But theyhvae the Camber, Epic and SJ FSR 29ers in Small. Niner does the RIP and JET in Smalls. You're actually a tweener on sizes. My manager is 5'9'' and rides a medium.

A little off topic.  At 6'1" and a 34" inseam, I feel like I could maybe ride an XL?  I ride a large 26'er now but am considering a 29'er and was thinking about trying an XL.  Thoughts?

I ride a medium 26/650 and a small 29. 29ers are sized different for some stupid reason .

I'm the same size, and I recently got a large SC Bronson, which is 650b, and it fits me perfectly.

Its not the bike, its your height. You're what we call a ''tweener''. In between sizes. You fit a medium 26 XC bike well but long travel or 29er yo do better with a Small.
