In need of a GoPro Hero2 or charger to borrow

I'm having issues with my gopro and I think it is not charging batteries, but I do not have a standalone charger and the brand new battery i bought this week is now dead. Looking to borrow another Hero2 or a standalone charger to test my theory if anyone is willing,  I've spent enough money fixing my road bike this week and would really like to avoid unnecessarily dumping any more cash.

I bought a Hero from another member on the board recently.  I believe it is the original one though.  Would that do you any good?

Thanks,

Justin

Ride to have fun and enjoy the scenery, not to set records…

Packed and ready to roll…

I ended up buying the charger on Amazon for $20 (third party brand) and I think it seems to have been the issue.  Got some weird error after this morning's ride to work that I think might be an SD card error (I need to update the firmware again tonight), but I had no issues using it on my ride home.

I plugged it into my computer when I got home from work and the LCD shows that it's charging, but the red light isn't on.  So I'm thinking it no longer charges the battery.

Thanks though!  I think the Hero and Hero2 do use the same battery; the Hero3 changed a lot of stuff physically as well as features.
