Finally a year ago.. Yes. I JUST had a conversation with a fellow about how these two designs had nothing to do with one another. He also claimed no one would sue Trek and refuted the fact that this ever happened.

Dave Weagle has sued Giant as well (others?) and if Santa Cruz did not get thier design from Outland one might say he would sue them too.

If only there was a large Turner contingent here we could also hear how Turner was so right for so long with the 4-bar, faux-bar and now DW link suspension was the best ever.

Love Turner.  No other bikes feel as naturals and as confidence inspiring as a Turner.  I have a Turner and two S-works bikes, after outer bike, I might have just two Turners.

Re Giant, I think that the Giant frames are basically an unlicensed DW and that is why I got my wife one.

So do you have the 4 bar, the faux bar or the DW Link Turner's because you know the fanboi's said the same thing about all of them.

my Turner history;

2007 Spot (FSR) added a TNT rear end in 2010
2010 Spot (DW)
2011 Spot
2010 Sultan
2011 Sultan
2007 Sultan

I have played with all the setups, I absolutely love the DW rear end and how it feels.  Right now I have the 07 Sultan and with a new CTD fox, it rides amazing.

I am up in the air, I might have a Czar or Sultan (DW) in rotation soon.

I really like my S-works FSR (140mm) but it is clearly not as balance as I remember my Sultan feeling, or maybe my skills are decreasing.  I will know by Monday.

Not an engineer but sounds like 3rd party validation that my Trek Remedy is awesome. Wouldn't be a fuss if it wasn't a great suspension design. Best all around bike ever.
