Prosperity church road bridge at I-485

Just want to throw this out there if anyone commutes or rides Prosperity church road near Highland Creek neighborhood. It seems the new bridge over I-485 has been built with bike lanes in mind ,however the approach to the traffic circles  is barely wide enough for two cars with a hard curb lining them. Farther along in front of the shopping center the same thing narrow with no shoulder. This area was suppose to be a "new concept" in pedestrian and bike use . Unfortunately there are NO bike lanes being put in and it seems bike traffic will either have to take a entire lane for an extended distance (which I do) or use a sidewalk with multiple pedestrian crossings. Way to freaking go Charlotte DOT.

I've only been living here a year, but I feel like that was the approach before with bikes lanes.  All around the SouthEnd I see bike lanes painted sporadically on various roads. There's a section on South Blvd not far from uptown that is probably 100-200ft and then stops, and as far as I can tell that's the only bike lane on the entirety of South Blvd.  The city seems to favor concrete medians and unnecessary turning lanes far more than anything else.
