	You forget to stand up on your hard tail while going through a small dip at Sherman and you compress your spine in the lower back area and are off the bike for three weeks. (not like this really happened to me, I just like not riding. )

	You think you need a 5 inch travel bike to ride the Charlotte area trails. (well at least that is what the bike shop told you when they sold you your new ride)....

Make them wait until your ascent is secured and then allow them to pass you. When a rider says, "On your right(or left) it is up to them to make the pass. You do not have to ride in the weeds. 	I went to the state park, but all they had there were dirt trails. But no bike trails. I had to ride on the street and it was way too hilly

	You head out for a lap at Beatty, and your Camelbak includes... 5 tubes Hand pump CO2 pump 5 liters of H2O 4 protein bars Chain tool 4 tire levers 8 hex wrenches Chain whip Cassette tool 16oz of mineral oil 12 zip ties An extra set of clothes 1 roll of TP ...just in case Me circa 2003 Best thread in a while btw.

	You trash the Valve stem on a tubeless wheel because you flatted and had to put in a tube to get out of the trail. LBS asks you for it and you realized you had no clue so you just trashed it thinking it was not needed and end up having to pay for a new one. Yup, that would be me.

	I remember being really confused when I got my mountain bike home and realized it didn't have a kickstand on it.
