Let's just say "rider up" took on a new meaning tonight. My buddy got a flat. I think he took a slug to the rear. Nice new bermy stuff.

The bermy stuff sure needs some rain it is like flour.

My sons were doing a little target practice this afternoon. Both are mountain bikers and responsible firearms handlers.  I admit it is a little unnerving at first. One of those slugs likely wouldn't of left a flat to be fixed.  Wink

Yeah. We felt safe the whole time. No worries. My parter got fancy on some rocky stuff and paid the price. Little rain will bring her back to life. Lots of leaves blown. This Is seriously the best trail around I hope it lives forever...you are a true contributor to the sport and a fine craftsman. Pure art.

Thanks Steve.

There have been a couple other helpers I've worked with over the years that have put in work this week. Thank you guys for the effort.

The intention is not to dumb down the trail but squeeze more fun out sections that lend their self to it. Realizing at the same that doing so makes those spots easier to get through with less skill needed, but hoping that the additional speed will make handling skills become more important in another area. Bottom line it is a trade off.

Its a nice trail and all but...dont ya think the climbs are a little too easy? Wink

Steve, I noticed the game camera set up at the entrance to No Name. Are we gonna see any of those pictures on here? I'd like to see me falling over and almost rolling down the hill on the first switchback last Monday haha.

Excellent trail, thanks again for ya'lls work.

Back again today. Dusty but sublime. There is money in the tube box as my compatriot decided to buy one of yours. He had some change so he just put it in the box instead of donation box. I think this is a great idea and hope you keep stockin' the tubes.

Banjopickin: I think I have 2 clips of you going up the very beginning of No Name. They just cover the left right after the bridge and a little of the climb before the first right hand switchback. So I don't have any near falls of you.

That game camera is pretty tricky to get set up still not to happy with results. It also makes me feel like an arm of the NSA.

MountainCycle: the tube deal seems to of helped out a few people and that's what its all about.

Excellent trail, thanks again for ya'lls work.

Yesterday it saw me losing rear wheel traction and clumsily willing myself to the top.

It's a good thing else you would've gotten my fail the other day on that switchback!  LOL... I always overdue the bottom to ensure I get up, get to confident cause it was easy, relax on the 1st switchback and end up stalling/falling because I've lost momentum there.  If I would just keep cranking through the first switchback and then resting, it probably wouldn't be so bad.  Good stuff though Steve!  Really appreciate all the work you have added to it.  I've rode RRT twice this year.  Not that I don't want to ride it, just that for me the faster trails have suited better since my riding time has been limited this year (I've probaly only got out 15-20 times this year).  I was one of the early riders last year and it's great to see the change from last year, and then even all the great work you've added that I've seen each time I went this year!  Thanks for sharing and all the work!
