OK being getting flats the past few rides at BYT in the same spot. I looked at my suspension in the back in it was covered with oil, now that means that it was leaking the hole time and it is probably blown out. SO on in this I am wondering if that may be the reason as to why I am getting flat's. PSI is set right in my tires and it ain't like I am going mock ten out there, maybe at times but today I went slow and pssss. I think tubless might be the way to go. Any ideas or comments welcome on the suspension issue as to maybe it might be the reason..Thanks...

Flats at same spot on the trail or same spot on the tube?

Could be something in the tire. Briar or something. Might be your rim is a little dinged up causing pinch flats. Or there's something on the trail in that spot you keep hitting like old metal or a sharp rock or something. Check your tire and rim real good first. 

Suspension issue sounds like a blown seal maybe. But im far from an expert on that. 

No regrets on going tubeless here. Pretty easy to do with gorilla tape, valve stems and Stan's goop. Just buy some new UST tires. Ive had poor results using non-UST used tires. That's the worst part. It's stupid how much mtn bike tires are getting to be.

The best way to check for a leak that you cant find is is to dunk it in water.  I will fill the bathtub up and slowly submerge the tire and rim until is see bubbles.  Also look at the stem as part of the problem if you are running tubless.

What size is the frame you are running in the rear?  I have an extra transition wheelset you can run tubless but its 12x142 rear.

The only way to know for sure is if you use your tongue. 

You might have also gotten a bad batch of tubes or something.

this would be nice,,see if you could fins a squish for 200 if not then this might be it.

I'm pretty sure I could give it a try...just the hard tail , I know , quit makeing excusess but my back might not be able to take the hard tail. I might just get it and take it out to Hornet's Nest or make it a cross-over bike..Better to be versatile on the Two Wheel Demon...can't  just be focused on one style. there are plenty of styles ...just looking out for my back...Just Sayin
