Hello All,

Does anyone know where I can order extra parts for the Cree XML lights:

(You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

or has anyone come up with a better idea than the the rubber straps that are included with them?  I have already broken 2 of them.

Thanks,

Justin

I just got the same light a few weeks ago.  You might be able to use an O-Ring from somewhere like Lowes or Napa.  Not sure how much they would stretch though.  If all else fails, use a bunch of rubber bands in a pinch.

Spotted this also: (You need to Login or Register to view media files and links)

Thanks for the great information.  The Cree and Magicshine are the same light housing, right?  If I find a mount that fits the Magicshine, like the one above, it will fit the Cree as well?

Thanks.

I have heard that they are the same housing, and possibly the same light, just rebranded, but I don't know that for sure.  I don't know from personal experience, but it looks like a safe bet.  The one difference that I did hear about was that the batteries are definitely different.
