Ok the fields are done... what about all the woods that border those new fields?  Looks like some great land for a trail...

Brand new sportsplex that is ready to go... multiple turf fields etc.  In Matthews, take the road behind the Matthews Post Office until it dead ends.

Lots of nice land around the sportsplex.

They are only finished with phase one, they will be adding more fields and also a stadium that sits near 3000 people.

The former Mayor of Matthews said years ago he wanted us to put in trails there when the park got built. He is a former/maybe current member of THTB.

I'm not sure but think with the amount of development called for, there may not be much left for trail.
