What is your perfect stable...

What is your perfect stable for the riding you do, and how close are you to being there?

Mine would be this:
  • Steel 29er HT SS belt drive - need everything
  • Steel 29er HT geared 1x11 - just need 1x11 drive train
  • AL 29 FS geared - got it, but could always upgrade

You?

Stable is complete:

Race/trail bike: Jet 9 RDO 1x10
Pisgah bike: Tallboy LT
Road bike: Pinnarelo Quatro

Only thing I wish I had would be the Dogma instead of the Quatro...

My stable:
AL 29er, SS, plenty fast for me bike.
AL 29er, geared, enough capability for me for the rare mountain or climber ride bike.
Carbon roadie so I can say I do it twice a year or so bike.
Bodged together SS roadie because geared roadie is boring by yourself bike.
AL hybrid set up for "touring" because one day I'm gonna ride across the US but really I only get out for 1 or 2 weekend trips a year bike.
199something Trek 720 set up to pull my kids trail-a-bike around the subdivision or McAlpine or runs to the local Wal-mart pulling my grocery trailer.
Currently, my stable of 6 bikes lacks nothing but a rider to spend more time with them!

Dude, I can completely concur with this!  I'd love to do a cross-continent ride some day, and with the company I'm with now, I have 30 days of vacation.  Do you think we could do it in that amount of time?  And yes, too many bikes and not enough time to ride them. (I only listed my mountain bikes, not roadies , cruisers or beach bikes were noted)

Sorry, bike shop owners are not allowed to post on this thread, because their responses are like asking my wine/beer distributor brother about what kind of beer he has in his refrigerator.
