Picked up a nail on the way to see family Christmas Eve, portable air compressor they had got us home safe and sound, put spare on Christmas morning and it didn't have enough air pressure to drive it. Bummer......called AAA and local tow truck guy had an air compressor, so all ended well.

Your spare doesnt have TPS?  Both mine and my wifey's do.  The first time the light came on because the spare was low only took me 30 minutes to figure that one out.   Undecided

No TPS on the spare for either of our vehicles. It would be good to have.

I'd rather have the tire and no air than be in the situation I am in...no spare. Thanks GM for putting runflats on a car from the factory and justifying that as a reason not to have a spare.

That is what the industry likes to call 2 part pricing.   Roll Eyes

My Blackburn floor pump I keep in my car assures me my spare tire will always have air.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

No spare is the new trend for most manufacturers.  Heavy pressure (actually regs) for fuel economy pushing for lighter vehicles & spares add weight.
