If anyone would like to join for a group ride at uwharrie Tuesday at noon this will be a soical ride no one gets left behind trying to keep it beginner friendly I've only been back into riding for 8 months so I'm not real fast yet but getting better

I might be able to do this. Anyone going to be driving from Charlotte? Possible carpool?

I am slow and out of shape, so this sounds right up my alley.

I might try to make it too.  I've been wanting to check out the trails out there.  Won't know for sure until tomorrow.  My son (he's 29) might come with me too.  We're both slow and I'm old on top of that.  We'll be coming from Concord.

You should always do the 24/27 parking lot, the trail from there to the bathroom/campsite is one of the best out there.

Not sure if I can make it. I might have to be home sooner than I thought today.

If I can make it, where should we meet? 24/27 or at the campground?

Green Explorer with a cheap hitch rack and Titus FS.

Alright, I am pretty sure I am in.  Noon at the 24/27 trailhead.  I can lead a ride and give folks options for bailouts for a 10, 14, 19 mile or longer route.

We park at the campsite & still always do that trail - as an out & back at the beg for warm up & then again at the end for cool down.  Wink

That just seems dumb to me.  It goes uphill to the campground and downhill to 24/27.  I like to end my ride with a downhill   Cool
