BYT meeting @ MD 2/15/14.

Lead trail coordinator wanted. I will be stepping aside as of 12/31/14. I am planning on turning it over to someone else to take care of. After 25 years of working not only at BYT/MD/PRP and most of the trails that you ride on and some that are now housing developments. Sooo the plan is to break it up into 3rds. Hopefully 5 people will step up to take on each 3rd. Each 3rd will be explained at meeting. Not sure about the MD side that will be on the table also. But first off the trail coordinator will be responsible for talking with THTB,CMUD,plant manager,Duke Enegry(if needed),P&R and both home owners associations and lets not forget Rocky and Jack. I also hope that the new guy will also keep in mind why this trail is like it is. It seems that over the last 4 or so years that the place is getting dumbed down to a certain degree and I hope the new guy will not let this happen. I am working on getting a tool box onsite for all the tools that I have in my garage to find a new home. Meeting will be in the back of MD at the picnic shelter at 10 and that is a Sat. I hope to see some of you stepping up to help with this. This has been a long time coming. By the way does anyone here know who runs the BYT twitter feed? I would like to know. I think he lied to my face the other day and claims to do all this work and I haven't noticed anything he claims to have done. Just another keyboard jockey! Thanks to all of you from the start in the late 80's till now and especially my brother Clay for all his time and effort over the years and to Barry Sharon for getting all of this legal for all of us to enjoy and become better riders.

    Thanks,
      Scott Hubbs

I have had a few people express their interest in helping out. Time is coming up fast for meeting. Again meeting is on Sat 2/15/14 at 10am MD picnic shelter around the back of the building. Helping out would only be once or twice a month with enough people. Jr and I opened up a connector trail that cuts the place into thirds. Will be a short meeting and I will try and answer any questions you may have. Bring your bike so we can go for a ride after.
