Should be frozen like pavement the next few days. If you can stand the cold it can take the traffic.

Fields are on the wet side lot of the hillside stuff has not thawed. So it's kinda mixed. I put a five foot long ground bridge in the dip after the viaduct this evening. The ground there was like rock trying to chip out so it could be positioned. As it all thaws there will be many different combinations.

The first part on the entrance trail is thawed and soft may want to bypass that and go up gravel road to the GTX and start there. Trail looks good in most places just depends on what part of the thaw cycle it is on.

Think it'll be ok for an after-school ride (3:00) tomorrow?  Hoping on top of hope to get one in before the real rain comes.

Should be ok before the rain starts. Maybe some of the afternoon or night riders can post on conditions they saw. Probably be next week sometime once the rain arrives. I've got some little projects I'd like to work on tomorrow if the rain will stay away long enough.

Hey Steve, how bad did the rain hit you tonight?  Curious if there's a possibility of tomorrow being rideable.

I live about 1/2 mile from rocky river and it was well out of its banks in the fields around it.

Be ok to try and get a ride in Monday prior to more rain. Use the bypasses. fields seemed to be much better later this afternoon. The bottom of Kamikaze is pretty wet just as it goes back in the woods. There is a good drain going on at the normal places before gorge climb. Solid bottoms but you will be getting a splash as you cross those spots.

Thanks for staying off today 01/12.

Hey, I was really hoping to get out to RRT today and ride. I got a bit of rain here last night. Anyone know how much they got over there? Thanks!

Everybody got spoiled with during the rainy summer.  Even RRT can't escape free/thaw, cool temps, lots of rain.  Maybe a resetting of expectations are in order.

I seriously doubt any riding around this area would be good.  I'm about 10miles from there and it's rained all night and just now stopped about 1hour ago.  Typically, the rains move from here over to RRT.  If the conditions where I'm at are any indicator, RRT will be soaked.

I litterally live right down the street from RRT and it was a constant light rain for at least 12 hours.  On an already saturated ground means terribly wet saturated trails.  I'm sure Steve will chime in soon to give an accurate update as to the trail conditions.

It is a shame though with the temperatures so mild the last couple of days.

Like everyone has said with the constant barrage of rain and freeze thaw, river flooded up over the bridges on the two bypass sections twice last week we'll have to let it rest a bit longer. Had 1/4" today. While much is ok much is not. With the softened tread due to the freeze thaw while saturated it would be rough on the parts that are fall lines and the flatter areas around the fields. Sorry
