Flood at FJB ?

Just got done a ride at FJB.  Have been out of town the past week so have no sense of what the weather has been (other than cold).   Saw on the site where the trail (like all others) was open so figured on dry ish conditions.

Not sure what the source is but the section of the trail behind the soccer field right past the old log ride and after the uphill with the curves / berms is a swampy mess.  There is a large amount of water actively flowing in to that section from the neighborhood above the park.  Almost made me wonder if a fire hydrant is open or someone is emptying a swimming pool.

I can't ever remember running water in that area, even after heavy rain.

All of the drains in that spot are being overwhelmed.  With it being a weekend and the majority of folks on the trail likely not aware that it's best to avoid bad conditions........

This area will certainly need some work.  I can pitch in for a few hours next weekend.

We are aware. Our theory is broken pipe. Possibly sprinkler. Need to go up to the neighborhood and ask around. Have some turfblock on the way to help out. Trailcrew will out there sat, but will be working on the dam crossing and replacing the north shore turn with a berm.

Figured you may be aware but just in case.

Now, if that's a sprinkler issue someone's going to have one heck of a surprise on their next water bill.
