Does anyone know much/what percent of money donated to IMBA actually goes to the local club?

My membership is due and they ask you to select a chapter of affiliation. When I donate, I want to help my local trails, not trails in some far off land I'll probably never visit.

I guess what Im asking is if its better to donate directly to the TrailBlazers or does my IMBA money serve some greater purpose that Im unaware of?

Thanks.

If it's just a donation, then sending it directly to use via our Paypal account, mail me a check or give it to me at monthly meeting.  I use Square Register at the meetings for credit/debit card purchases as well.

This link to the "Join" button on our homepage spells it out pretty well.

I can't find the page for it now, but I thought half of the membership fee went to the club directly and half went to IMBA.  Am I wrong?
