Yes it is. People start gathering around 7 and meeting starts at 7:30 or thereabouts. I won't be there this month.

There is a lot of socializing at first and then the official meeting starts. It follows a fairly structured format in that there is a meeting host who stands up and speaks about whatever the topics are. There are some standard topics that get addressed every month like a treasurer report, membership update, trail reports/conditions, shop updates, etc but then every month there are also new topics that get introduced. Then at the very end there is usually an "open mic" segment where anyone can bring up any issue they want...sometimes there is nothing and other times that can get interesting.
