ATTENTION DAVIDSON AREA RESIDENTS!

There will be a Town of Davidson public forum at 7pm on Feb. 18th at Davidson Town Hall, 216 S. Main St., to give public input and Davidson Park & Rec's new Master Plan.

There is the possibility of adding 4 or more miles to the trails at Fisher Farm Park but your voice needs to be heard!  Smiley

As usual, I plan on being there and am part of the master plan steering committee.

Hi Mark - I had it on my calendar but ended up working till 8pm, so I could not make it. Did anything come out of the session? Is there anything else we can do to provide input?

It was a public input session where everyone put in their ideas of what they'd like to see.  There was representation for rowers, tennis players, mountain bikers and many others.  Really good turnout!   

Although someone wants to put a soccer field in one of the bottom fields at Fisher Farm Park. Tongue  Didn't have the heart to tell him that those lower fields are 50 and 100 year flood plains with conservation easements on them...
