There is a meeting TONIGHT in Huntersville to discuss the Master Plan.  It may not be as exciting as talking only about Singletrack, but it's a means to an end.  I'll be there and would love to have some company...

The Greenway, Trails, & Bikeway Commission
is revising the 2007 Greenway, Trail and Bikeway Master Plan.
There will be a public meeting to gather input on the proposed greenway trail routes.

Where: Arts & Cultural Center
When: Thursday February 20, 2014
Time: 6:30-8:00 pm

109 South Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078

I might be able to swing this Jennifer.

Hope it goes better than the last one I attended about five or so years ago. It was a room full of anti greenway anti bicycling folks. Kill'em with kindness and facts vs. fiction and hopefully we'll prevail.

I went to one like that, too.  Unfortunately, there are some people on the Greenway committee who are anti-greenway.  Basically, they didn't want it extended behind their houses, so they got themselves elected to the commission to keep it out of their neighborhood.

Cyclists/commuters/greenway users/runners need to show up and voice their approval and give input to the master plan.
