Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

What is this putrid smelling smoke coming from? Made my nostrils burn. I thought it was a chemical weapon attack.

As much smoke is out there you would think the whole forest is on fire. Doesn't sound like they are controllin' it very well. It is pretty smokey all the way to the University.

Noticed the smoke in Concord today, thought it was an odd smell. Really thought it was something close by.

I noticed the smoke when I was in that area and just figured it was just an other land clearing for a new development.

"Controlled burn" may be new speak for "I controlled the start of this fire".
Sort like "select cut" now means "I select all these trees to be cut down" (i.e. clear cut)

Government has no reason to use common sense or be efficient as it pays no price for failure.

If they burned where there is trail, it would be a good film opportunity. The landscape looks like a moonscape after a burn. When I rode the connector trail after the last burn, I could just see a film of a rider(s) flowing through the spooky 'scape (or so I told myself).
