Not now but when I did, medium.  I'm 5'10.  Around a 90mm stem I think.

6 ft 2, xl frame 70 mm stem (I think. Def no bigger than 80)
2 years in and still liking it though I've got a hankering for a full squish.

I'm 5'8" and ride a medium with a 60mm stem. Love the bike. You're welcome to test ride it to get an idea of sizing.

6'0", short 31" inseam. I rode a medium for a long time. I'd get a large if I was going to get another one.

Do what you like. Stop hating people for their riding habits and get back to hating them for their skin color, religion, politics, and sexual orientation.

Bringing this thread back from the dead...

I have a chance at a gently used Yelli frame. It's large so I'm not sure if that's a good fit. Most of y'all have ridden with me and know I kinda charge over/through stuff. That's why I'm thinking large is good?  I have long arms for 5'9" and prefer larger frames. Also, the Geo. kinda lines up the same as my L Nomad except reach. This will be my pisgah hardtail/long mountain days so comfort on climbs and gravel is key. I'm not too worried about descending.

Since all of y'all have owned one and are familiar...is large a good option or D.O.A?

I'm 5'10" and I would do a medium again.  I haven't looked at the dim of the nomad but I bet I would be on a medium on that also.  If you're riding a large now and the dimensions are close then it might be fine.  I don't know if the standover will be much of an issue with the way the top tube is shaped even though it is a 29er.  If your getting a pretty good deal on it and it doesn't fit, it should be pretty easy to unload.  They seem pretty popular and unless things have changed, Yelli's seem to sell out pretty regularly.

All that being said, If I were to do it again, I would do the Nimble 9.

I agree with Yellowduck that medium for the Yelli is probably the right size.  Looking at the Yelli vs Nimble, the Yelli seems a bit bigger 31.8" stand over vs. 30.6" with the Nimble.  Also, having a large Tallboy LT, it seems a bit big at times and having that longer wheelbase makes downhill corners tougher.  Like Yellowduck said, if you're getting a screaming deal on the large, wouldn't hurt to buy it and build it up.  If you don't like the fit, you'll have all of the gear to switch over to a Nimble.

Good luck...
