Hello All,

I am going to start doing a weekly ride at BYT on Mondays at 6pm.  I am out of town this Monday, so going to plan on starting on Monday 3/24.  We will be rolling no later than 6pm, but if everyone is there earlier and ready to go, we might roll out earlier.  I am just putting this out there as an initial note about it, but I will post again a couple of days before the first one.  Here is the info tho:

BYT - Meet at Marion Diehl parking lot
Rolling out of the parking lot at 6pm
Starting on Monday 3/24 - Re-occurring each Monday
Social paced ride
Might get dark earlier in the season before we end, so bring lights just in case

Hope that we get some people out there.  It is a great track.

The first week we will time about how long it takes to get to certain areas.  What we could do is start earlier and then people could ride in the service road across from Marion Deihl and meet us before the downhill to culvert along Tyvola.  I would like to start earlier as well because I work not too far from there and I am out at 530.  We will dial it in.  See you there on 3/24.

Well the weather is looking great for Monday and hopefully there won't be too much rain this weekend that will close the trails.  Plan on doing my weekly group ride at BYT Monday.  Meeting at Marion Diehl at 5:30ish, rolling at 6pm.  Shooting to be out before dark.  Please let me know if you would like to join me.  Social pace with a couple of quick stops.

Sounds good.  Have my fingers crossed that the trail is open.  Rain due to end today, windy and warm tomorrow, and 0% chance of rain Monday.  Hopefully that will be enough to get everything dry.

I have heard through the grapevine that BYT should be opened by this afternoon.  If so, we are going to do our ride.  Meeting at the parking lot about 530, and we are going to roll right at 6pm.  We "should" be done before it gets dark, but bring a light just in case it starts to get dark towards the end.   

If you aren't going to be to the parking lot and ready to ride by 6pm, please text me at 585-978-1318 and we can wait, or find somewhere to meet you on the trail.

We are planning on doing the whole trail including the left side at the entrance.  We won't be riding the Marion Diehl side tonight.

This happening tomorrow?  I think that I am going to try to swing by for a lap

I am going to postpone tonight (4/14) BYT ride.  Rain looks imminent about 7pm.  This is partially selfish because I have no roof or doors on the jeep.    If others way to still meet and give it a go feel free.  I am tentatively rescheduling this for Thursday night, same time, same place.

I am sorry to call this one so early.  Of course you all don't need me to do the ride.  I am more concerned about my vehicle being flooded when we return if it starts to rain.  Going to plan on Thursday tho for sure.  Hope some/all of you can make it Thursday.

It looks iffy for BYT opening today so I am going to postpone this ride, but get it back on track (ha, get it) on Monday night 4/21, meeting at 530pm ish, rolling at 6pm.  Hope to see you all out there Monday night.

I usually ride WWC on Tursdays, but tomorrow i need to stay "local" incase i need to run in and save the day.  So i will probably see you guys out there.

Weather is NOT looking good for tonight.  I am going to postpone the weekly BYT ride for tonight but if the weather holds and people want to get together and ride, please do.  I also have a family obligation I have to attend to.   

Remember we are going to start meeting at WWC on Thursdays.  We will be at the bathrooms ready to roll at 6pm.  If the WWC trails are open, the ride is on.  Hope we can this Thursday, but it isn't looking great right now.

We had such a great ride this past Monday night.  8 riders in total.  Thanks all for coming out.  Remember that we are going to meet Thursday nights 6p at the bathrooms in the parking lot at WWC for a ride, then hang for a bit for River Jam.  Going to be perfect weather tomorrow night...hope to see you there.

Well I feel like a terrible host but I am not going to make the BYT ride tonight.  I am actually going to be at Riverwalk cutting in some new trails, so I have a good excuse.  Others will be out there though at the normal time.  Have a great ride and see you all in 2 weeks.  I won't be there next week either as it is a holiday and I will be out of town.

Yeah it is turning into an evening ride. No good reason that just (selfishly) worked into my schedule. We are off this week too but back next Monday. There are almost always people there to ride with anyways.

There are always people riding there. I am hmed the other days of the week already. We are going to DuPont this coming Saturday if you want to join us.

Aw I missed it.  Probably went by you guys on the trail.  Totally for about it.  Anyway, I'm riding BYT or something along those lines daily if anyone ever needs a riding buddy.

Is this on for tomorrow night, 6/9?  If it is, can anyone provide an address for the trailhead, or even an intersection*edit* it figured out where it is.  I'm in town from southeast PA and looking to put down miles on the bike rather than sit at the bar all night.  Just want to be sure before I drive down there tomorrow, as it appears to have rained here in Charlotte, and I hit a bit of rain on the drive down.  Thanks.

Reports are that BYT is very muddy still.  Ride is not on for tonight.  If anyone is interested I am going to move the ride to Riverwalk.  We will meet at the Kayak Launch at 6pm and roll out.  Riverwalk is still a work in progress.  It is fun to ride, and there is a lot more trails to still build.

I'm going out there at 6  if it doesn't rain OohoO.  I'll be riding a blue yeti.

A friend and I are planning on riding this tonight as well.  He lives just down the road so we will meet you guys at the trailhead off Farmbrook Dr. around 6.

Sorry that I missed you all last night.  Sounds like a great ride was had.  I will be back in the saddle Monday.  I was so sore from Dupont and Riverwalk the 2 previous days.  See you all next Monday.

Looks like the weather is looking good, albeit a little warm, this evening.  We will be meeting between 5:30-6 at the Marion Diehl parking lot, rolling at 6pm.  Please come out and join us.  This is a social ish pace ride with no drops.  If you are going to be coming out, but are running late, hit me up at 585-978-1318, otherwise I hope to see you there.

I'll be out there if I can fight traffic for the 1 block bike ride I have to the parking lot from the house. 

I am not going to make it out to BYT tonight, but I know that a couple of the regulars will be there for sure.  Please come out for a great group ride.

Are we having a ride tonight?

For tonight (8/25) we are going to ride at WWC instead.  Meeting at the bathrooms in the parking lot, rolling at 6pm.  Hope to see some people out there, or have a great ride at BYT.

We are social pace, no drop.  I am disappointed that right now Whitewater is closed.  I am not feeling BYT tonight, so waiting to hear about WWC, or may ride at Anne Springs.  I will post in here again at 5pm.

Anyone riding today? I'd like to, but not the usual pace. My back is bothering me a bunch but need to work off a long wedding weekend..
